Teck Wellness ("we," "us," "our") provides a technology platform that connects patients seeking metabolic care with independently licensed clinics. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information, including Protected Health Information ("PHI") governed by HIPAA.

1. Information we collect

  • Intake information you provide voluntarily: height, weight, ZIP code, age, health conditions, insurance type, and readiness to start care.
  • Consent and eligibility metadata: timestamps for when you affirm consent to share information with a matched clinic.
  • Account information for clinic partners and administrators: name, email, phone, role, and last sign-in time.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and access timestamps written to our audit log.

2. How we use information

  • To determine your qualification for GLP-1 and related metabolic programs.
  • To route qualified patients to appropriate clinic partners under a Business Associate Agreement.
  • To operate, secure, and improve our platform.
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations, including HIPAA.

3. Sharing and disclosure

We share information only with clinics you have consented to be matched with, and only to the extent necessary to evaluate and deliver care. We do not sell your information. Subprocessors (payment, secure email, scheduling, SMS) operate under BAAs where PHI is involved.

4. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Access is role-based and audit-logged. Clinic staff can only access patients routed to their clinic, enforced at the database layer via Row Level Security.

5. Retention

We retain patient records and audit logs for the periods required by HIPAA and applicable state law. You may request deletion or restriction subject to those retention requirements.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, amend, and receive an accounting of disclosures of your PHI. Contact admin@teckwellness.com to exercise these rights.
